Biography of John Ritter
Johnathan Southworth "John" Ritter was born on September 17, 1948, in Burbank, California, USA.
He was an American actor best known for his roles as Jack Tripper in the sitcom "Three's Company" and Paul Hennessy in the television series "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter".
Ritter's parents were actress Dorothy Fay and singing cowboy and daytime television star Tex Ritter.
He attended Hollywood High School before enrolling at the University of Southern California, where he studied psychology and architecture.
Television Career
Ritter played several prominent theatrical roles before landing the popular sitcom "Three's Company" in 1977.
